Foundation House of Schmutz

Foundation House of Schutz was founded in 2025 by curator and pleasure activist Maxi Meissner.

The foundation aims to foster sexual literacy, well-being, and public dialogue around intimacy through art, culture, and design. Rooted in the principles of Pleasure Activism, we create physical, artistic 'Third Spaces', free from commercial exploitation and digital algorithms, that emphasise agency, consent, empathy, and aesthetic quality. We achieve this mission as a non-profit organization through curated cultural events, exhibitions, artistic productions, research, and collaborative cross-sector partnerships.
