Schmutz Cinema
Schmutz Cinema brings pornography to the big screen, celebrating it as a vibrant art form. We create intimate, high-energy spaces where cinematic storytelling and erotic imagination collide, reframing pleasure as a vital part of feeling alive.
From die-hard adult cinema fans to the delightfully curious, everyone has a seat. No judgment, no shame. Just great films, warm energy, and a healthy dose of humor.

curated by Schmutz
Curated by Schmutz offers bespoke film and event programming tailored for festivals, art spaces, and cultural venues. As specialists in contemporary pornography and erotic arts, we turn complex, taboo-breaking topics into crowd-favourite, ethically crafted audience experiences.
We’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with powerhouses like Kaboom Animation Festival, Sickhouse, InScience, International Queer and Migrant Film Festival (IQMF), and beyond.
Looking for expert curation, a fresh perspective, or a touch of high-brow heat for your next event? Get in touch. We’d love to dream something up together.

Close-up on…
Close-up on… is our expanded, interdisciplinary programme that zooms in on one hyper-specific theme at a time. Weaving together film screenings, panel discussions, show&tells, live music, performance and readings, we dismantle taboos and cultivate sexual literacy in style.
Our goal? To redefine sex from a performance into an intimate, collective reflection. By bridging the gap between adult industry events, profit-driven online spaces, and academic discourse, Close-up on… creates a welcoming ‘third space’ to explore intimacy with curiosity, heart, and nuance.
The first editions took place in 2026 at LAB111 and were supported by AFK (Amsterdams Fonds voor de Kunst).
